Customer Review: Great blend of cushioning and stability
I’ve tried all the big names, Nike, Adidas, Reebok. This shoe out performs all of them, and the price is less. I’m a fairly big man, 6′2″ and 230 pounds. This is the first shoe that allows me to run aggressively, pound the pavement, and NOT make my knees hurt. I won’t be going back to those other brands anytime soon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Customer Review: Disappointment
The shoes are of excellent quality, but they did not fit and support my feet like others I have purchased. Probably just a misalignment in style to my feet and not a reflection of the shoes, but they don’t seem to be as ‘cushy’ as others I have bought.

Customer Review: Good Shoes
Really good shoes. I have to wear thick custom insoles and require a shoe with a big toe box so that my feet aren’t crowded. You can’t tell from the picture but this shoe (in EEE)) has got plenty of room.
In my work, I am on my feet more than eight hours a day with only a few minutes to sit down. I’ve owned other New Balance shoes that were as comfortable but none that were more so. I highly recommend them.

These shoes are great! Plenty of support, excellent sole protection, plenty of room in the toebox, extremely comfortable, and very rugged. The only downside is that the soles are not very grippy on ice.

I love the Stan Smith. i dont think anybody actually still uses them for tennis. its more of a casual shoe now. my all time favorite shoe in the Adidas Superstar aka shelltoe but the Stan Smiths come close second. make sure you keep them clean or by a new pair every 3 or 4 months. nothing worse that a pair of dirty Adidas.

My foot doctor recommend I buy the 801’s because of heal spures. I hated wearing shoes and the minute I got home from work off the shoes came. Even with cold floors I wore slide on slippers instead of shoes. But I noticed this week I put on my shoes (801’s) when I got up and they didn’t come off until I went to bed. I do walk in them, just a little tough going up hill. LOVE my shoes
Customer Review: Best slip-ons I ever found
When I purchased my first pair of 801 slip-ons it was because they were cheap on clearance. After wearing for about a week, I went back and bought every pair in my size. They are, by far, the most comfortable, easy on-easy off shoe. When they get dirty, into the washing machine they go. I am (was) a confirmed Merrill wearer, but the Merrills are collecting dust in the back of the closet. $60 is a bit steep but If you find them on sale, grab them. You won’t regret it.
